I Can't Tell

I am not an inmate, convict, or loser.
I am not who you think I am,
So I guess I fooled you!
I have a power on earth, no human could ever imagine

But I can't tell you that.

I'm not a mean person, selfish, or inconsiderate.
Nor do I speak in negative terms, broad, or specific.
I can hear what you think I don't.
I can see what you think I won't.

But I can't tell you that.

I don't believe in hate, that's an emotion I don't need.
It leads to indifference, conflicts, jealousy and greed.
I have the ability to reach my hand to you, feel your energy.
I can see the real you, not as you appear to be.

But I can't tell you that.

People like to assume, just on appearances alone.
So my motive are quite the opposite, to set a positive tone.
I can make things happen with just a single thought.
Never mind what I think about the lies that you've bought.

But I can't tell you that

I am not black, red, white, yellow or green.
I am a child of God's.  You understand what that mean?
You have the opportunity of a lifetime, the words I speak are true.
To return to your father God, his children, and yeah, me too!

But, I can't tell you that!!!

I just want to show the world what I am made of.
Peace, understanding, faith, and love.

So when you remove the obstacles the world has laid.
And you resist the foolish games your ego has played.
Then your destiny will be set, everlasting life is in your hands.
Just like God our Father says, "It's all in my plans."

Now I can tell you that!
