I Commit To Death
To lie in the deepest of sea, and fall to sleep in the quest of impurity
Where I too shall commit to death, be it under the lava of time and energy
The only thing left will be water and then it will soon die too, until it is swallowed
By the dry ash of the erupted earth, shaken by the quake of the planets evolved
While they crash into each other and death will be known from the volcanic ash
The wretched waste of the human flesh, no more will we be alive, but we will suffer
Into the hells of time and come to an end, where we will know no more promise
But we will know the lies of the devil and the death of our rapture we will commit

this poem comes across as eschatological, where prophecy of destruction is foretold. it's very descriptive, touching, alerting, and sad. especially considering that even that water will die.
Glenn- I agree, this is sad, and water would die in time, if you think about it?
Thanks,
Nancy
