I’m addicted to you
Your beautiful view
Addicted to highs
The look in your eyes
Addicted to pain
The acidic rain
Addicted to me
I’ll drown in my sea
Addicted to life
This wonderful strife
Addicted to doubt
What’s my life about?

I am a hamster the world is my wheel
I diagnose others but rarely I feel
The bottle I cap, it rarely breaks seal
Emotions pour over, for fractions I’m real

My essence, emotions some brain juice and soul
My life a symphony, harmony, whole
I’m wholly unholy with holes in my heart
I’m new I know nothing I’m just at the start

There's truth in that bottle enticing and sweet 
The magical crystal, a glass, and some heat 

Every single day is a new beginning to my end
Everybody acting like they’re not pretend

Locked inside this stage, it’s not a stage, I’m in a cage
An emotional apathy that downplays the rage

I am not from here I’m from somewhere far
Eyes looking out, towards where we are

The bottle cap opens inside it I’m freed
To understand nothing I must now concede

To understand all is a task not for me
I’m much far too small to find guarantee

All that is now, still was and will be
The sense of no knowledge somehow sets me free

The bottle expands the deeper I fall
My feet never land the voices now call
My body is gone there is only I
Here only truth, no longer is lie

And there I lie
 
i think I die

The bottle i close with great dedication
i slowly forget without concentration
The truth i once had no longer is here
But that i once had it gives me no more fear

So i say goodbye 
no longer i fear 
no more is the lie 
So i persevere 
A damaged disguise 
was chasing my ear 
A heartfelt surprise
They were so sincere 
We said our goodbyes
