I FORGIVE... AND FORGET...
A savage assailant
Under surveillance
Wielding his smirk
Driving conveyance
Sheltering thoughts
Snide in conceit
Framing himself
A portrait of defeat
Arrogant....
In all that he is
Resistance is futile....
....A figure of speech
Obsolete...
The aggressor becomes
A faded memory
Silencing tongues....
No longer exhaling his breath from our lungs....
