I am the moment day fades into night
I am the phoenix preparing for flight

Let these ashes be singed away
Let my fiery breath keep my demons at bay

My heart beats without the weight of the world
My soul is reborn and refuses to be judged

Dreams are only dead when you give up
Dreams only fade if you turn out the lights

Feel this broken heart that's made of glass
Feel these feelings I can let go at last

Alive are my hopes for a better life
Alive are the many faces of the endless sky
