Everything is wonderful
Everything is fine
As long as I stay silent
And walk the narrow line

The splinters of pain that cut my heart
They have not left, without a trace
No one looks beyond my smile
My desperate cries are not heard
When I act like everything's wonderful
They believe every wonderful word
Behind my words, I fall apart
Behind my smile, I cry
Behind my eyes, I hold my tears
As silently, I die
Everything is not wonderful
I refuse to have to hide
I stopped pretending I'm wonderful
And told them that I lied
