I lifted my head

I lifted my head just to see my mother punching me, 

Because I stepped out the room without her say so, 

And she said no,

I lifted my head Just so I can see better,

Because my tears became Heavy it was hard for me to see beyond my shelter,...

How do I try to avoid these hits and bruises,

How can I run away and never return,

If I Shall Decided or Choose stitches,

I just wish that I have Moved away from getting burned!.

I seen momma Coming back with a belt that was leather!. 

But this time around she hugged Me tight,

Momma Acted  a fool and she acted a fool that night!.
