Poem -

I Once tried.

Still holding on,
Unable to move on,
Unable to propel forward,
Is it because of the memories?
Memories!
That we created,
That left us elated,
When nothing could have halted,
Our love!
Is it because of the moments?
Moments!
That we lived?
That enlighted our days,
That merged our ways,
Under the flickering rays,
When it was strong!
Laughters?
That I made,
In every word you said,
And made me feel alive,
And live rather than survive,
When you treasured us,
Seated under the sunlight,
This piece consuming the might,
Recalling every time we fight,
You are far but we fight,
I hope I won't carry the blame,
For I tried,
On my side,
When my happiness was your priority.
