I Pray to Thee

I Pray to Thee

Blank pages stare at me,

I want to write.

I want to read

I want to fill the pages with my thought.

But,  I can't write.

I can't read.

I am illiterate.

                      I pray to thee,

                      Make me literate.

Seal the gap in my mind.

Fill the hole in my heart.

                    Please ............

                   Admit me in a school

The power in words, they hold no true meaning until they have been immortalized on a plain white sheet of paper. Deprivation of an education is a travesty to the social morality of mankind by another towards advancement of our society. This being the most important code of conduct put forward by a society and accepted by the people...Poem very strong in meaning...
