Poem -

Prayer of a dolorous soul

The sun rises and spreads its light

and hides the darkness deep below it.

The moon shines in the darness of the night

and promises of sweet dreams.

The stars twinkle decorating the sky

and tell tales of infold glory.

The tree  grows in the course of time

to form shade from the heat.

The nightingale sings and welcomes

the weary travellers.

The peacock dances in the rainy season

and delights the audience.

Who is going to hear my cry?

Who is going to pull me from the nadir of despair?

When will  my tears turn to pearl?

A shattered soul awaits for a miracle.
