I Thank You

You take the time 
To enter my mind
Not even sure of what you will find
I thank you

And though I like to entertain
You take every salt grain
From all the times I share my pain
I thank you

When the doubts in me
Overwhelmed with thoughts of quitting 
I feel you pushing me
I thank you

And when I think that no one cares
I see you standing there
With an ornery looking stare
I thank you

So this is just to say
I appreciate you all on this day
