I WANT TO BE A RIVER

I want to be a river
Free falling from a mountain top
Flowing, always going
Until I have to stop
Let me cascade down the hillsides
Let me race to the sea
​​​​​​Let me leave behind my cares
And keep running, till I'm free
I want to be a river
Of one continuous, fluent motion
Feel the excitement, exhilaration
Of when I finally reach the ocean
But I learned; It's not so much the destination
As the journey, it takes to get there 
Breathing in the moments, cascading
And being mindfully aware
I want to be a river
Enjoy the journey that I`m on
Feel the excitement, the exhilaration
Of every moment, till it`s gone
