I Will Find You

There is an ancient saying in our language
It is savage but so full of meaning
'If your eyes desire something, take it without hesitation'
When I saw you the very first time
I felt my heart fall out and land on the ground
I tried to yell for help but made no sound
I laid there wondering 'What has come over me?'

I got up at sunrise and searched my surroundings
"How did I end up here? Why like this?"
I went home and my heart still hurt

My eyes had water that I could not dry

I knew I had seen the one 
The one woman who could save me

Save me from myself and make me live again
I set out and searched...
I searched until the moon replaced the sun

Now my heart was on the run

As I rode away back to home,
I heard footfalls behind me

I turn around and it was her

She said "I just wanted to be sure that you are serious."

I said I've never been more serious in my life. I want you

She took my hand and led me to where moon shone its brightest
I knew I had found the one

The one who would always bring the sun
