I LIKE TO WRITE SOMETIMES

I like to write sometimes,

Going through motions

Because I like to write sometimes

Observing life through the third eye

Ask myself why?

But the answer is,

We need a shared belief, desperately.

As desperate as assassinations to those that fought for unity.

Simplicity is far better than complexity

And they wonder how we foresee

Truth is, we are aiming for bigger things

While you are still worried about your complexion

I have an infection of these ridiculous rhymes

Which is why, I like to write sometimes.

I like to write sometimes,

To keep track of what goes on in my mind.

Give praises to the most High

Because He is the only one that can help us demystify

Why our people have to travel a thousand miles

Before we get to a position,

Where we can afford a fancy dinner with red meat and wine

I am still trying to make you understand why

I like to write sometimes.

I like to write

For the fathers, that are not responsible but do not want to be bothered,

For mothers that mourn for their sons and daughters

Who were baptized in waters of consciousness,

So they had to be slaughtered.

I write for those that lost their conscious,

For those being pelted by stones of obstacles but still feeling awesome

For the people that aim for that freedom,

And for the child that looks out through the window

and wonder why daddy left like a widow

I write to bring peace at homes

To motivate those aiming for the throne

And to comfort to those that feel alone.

I like to write sometimes,

But words cannot explain why I like to write

And if what I write is right,

Then do what is right and fight for your rights.

And I like what I write

Which means I write what I like
