ICE SPIDER...( I Spied Her)

The cold calling
Dawns a new mourning
Christening the corpses
Beneath snow...forming and falling...

Upon monumental
Crystalline pinnacles
Concealing ice capsules
Of the frost-bitten cynical

But this morning the sun
Shone down..on but one..
And he ventured forward
Finding no need to run.

Through the hail and sleet
The spider did meet
None like no other
For he made her feel weak
Knowing too well
It was him...she did seek...
As premeditated poison
Assured no one a peek.

This spider of ice
Would now pay the price
As the man stood before her
With intent so concise.

Becoming the prey
She accepted her fate
Closing her eyes
Still...she did wait...

Then he whispered so closely
Breathing into her ear....

"I will melt your soul,
My sole purpose is here,
As delivering all that you truly desire,
Will heal your heart,
As I free the  Ice Spider!"

From that day on...
The sun shone....bright!
As not only one...but two....felt the light..!

Being rescued by this heart of fire
Was accepting his love
Allowing harm to retire...x
