Poem -

If I Cared

Would it be different if I loved you more
Would it be different if I stayed married to your father
Would it be different if I was richer or .more pretty
If I cared anymore for you I would be dead
I have always loved you since you were born, I am never going to be perfect
But I am always going to be your mother, good or bad
We have been through good times, we have been through bad
But I have.always kept you deep in my heart
Now that you have left me, there is an empty hole, for I have lost my best friend, my very soul
Please forgive me for not always being there
For being poor and unfortunate without a car
Remember me some day when you look back at the pictures
Know I was always caring
Giving every inch of my being , for you, I would give my life
If I cared
