Poem -

If Only I Was A Fly

If i was a fly on the wall
I’d leave clues to watch you crumble and fall
I’d watch you try and kill me
But you’re already killing me softly
With the way you act and the way you talk
If I was a fly on the wall
I’d show you how it’d feel to turn around and walk
Right out the door you used to enter
I’m small, and fragile, can you even hear me call?
If i was a fly on the wall
I’d give you a chance to redeem yourself
As I sit here, watching you on a dusty old bookshelf
You don’t understand what you’ve done to me
Here i am again, asking to be set free
If i was a fly on the wall
If only i was a fly on the wall
I’d really show you how you were making me fall
I’d really show you how you make me feel so small
I’d show you in ways you’ve never seen
How much your absence comes off so mean
I’m torn between a rock and a stone
You can’t even pick up a phone
If i was a fly on the wall
I’d scream so loud you’d finally hear me call
