Poem -

If the world were silent

If the world were silent

If the world were silentΒ
We would finally hear peace,
But if the world were silent
We may not ever cease.

From wars, battles, and killings
to slaves, traffickingΒ and more,
If we cannot ever speak
We may be more than sore.

If the world were silent,
toΒ us, that'sΒ just a thought,
For some, that'sΒ a bitter reality
For them, sound is sorely sought.

When the world is silent,
You will all be sorry,
That you never thought to help them,
You know them, you told their story.
