If you love someone

If I love someone him,
Then I have to release him from the cage I trapped him in.
If my heart has captured  his soul,

Set it free,
When you close your sapphire blue eyes,
I bid farewell to the memories we created together,
God don't punish him for mine mistakes, I promise if you keep him alive then I'll never met or see him again.

I know I can't hold on to him forever, eventually I must free him so he can fly through the blue sly like the dove he is.
I care for him,
But time runs thin through the hourglass.

In the nights moonlight a path will shine for him but that path won't lead to me. Having said this my heart breaks in pieces.

If someone loves you,
They won't let you go,
If someone loves you,
You won't want to set them free,
So open your eyes,
If they return to you,
It's meant to be.

But if someone does not return,
It wasn't meant to be,
If someone doesn't come back,
The love was never there,
And their love was never yours to begin with. 

Be possessive or tying to control your partners friendships with people, will only harm your relationships with them. You can't force someone to love you. That person has to be with you because by they own choice. Not because you want them to be. Most people will walk in and out of our lives. Only friends leave footprints on our hearts. True love stories never have endings.
