I'll have word's with addiction.

Addiction issues, the water, the needle and the tissues. 

My whole life I have loved people who had and have addiction issues. 

And none of my love was enough of a fight for self saboteur. 
One addicted to the joys of the body and sold her soul for money but sex was her hit. 

One addicted to  stuff to go straight up pinging high. 

And comfort couldn't put back together the fact he already felt dead without it. 

One addiction can lead to another to support the favorite way of feeling. 

I was always addicted to trying to help them all, and help myself to let them be people I love. 
My poor wounded soldiers, my army of old scars. 
Only the addict can relapse into the state they most see fit. 
Only the addition can keep them hooked. 
Not going to judge they are in my family tree. 
Not going to say it was easy for me. 
To be around the come down.
 
To be around when they shot up. 
To see them choke and spew and struggle to get air. 

To be there when they invited bad companies in. 

To watch as the years of abuse took its toll on them, after all I love them. 

Addiction addiction why is it so hard to scrub you away. 

Can't clean them enough to make them stop hitting themselves. 
Addiction addiction they lost their fight with you and in a way I did two, because you took away my  good people with habits, killed them off one by one and made me be there. 
Mean addiction, you and I are going to have words on the other side.
