when youve left your home
and the sky has fallen
when the devil flies by
and the mountains are removed

When youve watered the streets with your tears

and theres blood in the water

and the waters flow and swirl 
going wherever they go
when youre address is 2 feet away
on a pole on the side of the freeway
and youve jumped the fence
ill still be there
when the shadow of the almighty
hovers over the side of the road
and the shelter of the most high
is a catholic church
when theres one drop of water left 
and you have to get out of the ditch youre in
when you try to get up
but youre legs wont work
ill still be there
when theres a piece of your bloody sock on the steps of a church and youre shaking the dust off youre feet
when youre drinking water from a pipe thats dripping off the roof of a building
and when you think you might have seen hope at the bus station
but they make you sit in the back
