I’m a part

I’m a part

I’m part of the pretending
Pretending I’m ok when in reality I’m drowning in a sea of thought some of which make me feel like being here ain’t worth it anymore
I’m pretending
I’m part of the faking it
Faking it doesn’t hurt when in reality there’s an invisible knife in my back going further in every time my trust is betrayed
I’m faking it
I’m part of the if I ignore it
Because if I ignore it and pretend it’s not there it goes away but the reality is it never goes away in just comes back but worse
I’m part of an epidemic
An epidemic of people fighting an invisible and hidden battle
