Time keeps ticking in the darkness of the evening
I can hear myself breathing, I can hear the train on the tracks
Not able to relax as your surgery this morning had a bad result
Tbey say something will get you in the end guess even cancer
Now all I think about is you in pain, hurting fading away
I'm awake again, I am holding your hand
