Poem -
I'm Fine
Hi, hello,
I'm fine.
No, I'm not crying,
I'm fine.
Am I sad,
no, I'm fine.
It's the truth, really,
I'm fine.
Well even if I'm not,
I should be.
I'm never fine,
you just can't see.
You only see what I want you to see,
nothing more or less.
And if you ask if I'm okay,
it won't be a no, it will be a yes.
Even if I'm crying,
and really, truly sad.
I am never happy,
so you should be glad.
So if you're bound to ask,
don't worry, I'm fine.
And If you ask, who's blood is that,
don't worry, it's mine.
No I'm not in pain,
I'm fine.

Aw it tells the story of many sad people who feel ashamed and embarrassed to tell of their pain and gloom to everyone. Through poetry we can vent with much less shame so kudos for a fine poem.

I think a lot of people hide their sadness to not worry others. People are more comfortable if you pretend to be alright. A good write here. I hope getting it out helped
