IN FADING LIGHT OF LOVE

Bittersweet Nostalgia:

IN FADING LIGHT OF LOVE

Bittersweet Nostalgia:

In fading light, a life half-spent,
A melody lost, a heart once bent.
A weary sigh, a tear that falls,
A blush of gold on weathered walls.

The eastern shore, where dreams once sailed,
Now whispers tales of journeys failed.
The sun, a beacon bittersweet,
Wakes weary bones, on tired feet.

No joyous call, just ocean's moan,
As morning mist claims what is unknown.
The world adrift, in shades of gray,
Reflects a heart in yesterday's sway.

A single bloom, a wilting rose,
A final touch, before it goes.
A silent peace, a life complete,
A heart remembers, bittersweet.

So let us greet this fading dawn,
A weary bloom, a journey drawn.
With eyes that hold both joy and pain,
We watch the world ignite again.
