"I was so transfixed,
on my next fix,
that I didn't stop,
to smell the roses,
that were almost laid,
on the top,
of my own grave,
but Jesus saved,
me.
He took my arm,
and carried me away,
from all that thought to harm,
me,
and for His Mercy,
I hope I can repay,
Him with all I do and say,
in hopes His Love never fades away,
In Him I trust,
in what will come,
and what may."
