In divers spheres, I step into eternity
Where inner worlds expand
As we glide through consciousness
And cross the stream
To the purlieus of the otherside

In the sacred silence of a dream
And under the oak, we lie
As when we were younger
And our souls were bound by the oath
While we swore this love would never die

I saw your colours glow
Where esteem will stem from ignorance
And the everlasting know
That confidence is emptiness
Expressed in love that's self-absorbed
As they shed their skin for light that dims
But like orchids, we have grown

Long days awake, I hope in sleep
To elevate my soul and keep
Alive, the love inside this pain
While for every channel I have strayed
I still wish to meet you where
Our rivers flow into the sea

For years I rambled
And almost lost the wonder I had known
When passion bled without a sense of self
On nights I found myself alone
And that loneliness is unworldliness
Until my touch awaits not the hand of yours
When in death I reached from a necropolis
To espy an unfamiliar soul

Still I would colour the hyacinth purple
If only my blood were pure
And I would swallow your sins, I would suffer
If only my love could again be yours
I need your breath to be my rebirth
And your presence to be overwhelming
So cast your kiss across my lips
To resume all that is never ending

Run to the memory and collide with me
Where dreams are left undone
Before the light recedes for a boreal breeze
