"In This Together"

"I'm finding in this unfamiliar terrain,
I have real friends in this place,
to help shoulder my pain.

So grateful and humble this thought makes me.
I'm still a little apprehensive as to where God is taking me,
but then I remember I am so blessed,
because when I came to rehab,
I was a god awful mess,
I was almost dead in every sense of the word,
but God heard my cries,
He heard every word!

I hope these words can make white doves in your heart,
that your addiction can never ever tear apart,
because, I swear, I am here with you in this fight,
just hold on to your hope,
hold tight to that light!"
