Incendiary dreams

Incendiary dreams

Late,
late night.
Flower taste pot on my tongue.
Flberty wibble.
Wibblety flib.
passing further out of sight.
With every roach I flick into the gutter
while I flutter,
like the moth against the glass.

Just trying to touch,
trying to touch,
the flame at last.

Incendiary dreams.

Hi Tony,
Alright I suppose it's a bit of a weird one. I've been working on a play about a group of arsonists who make up a support group called Firebugs Anonymous. This comes from that.
On a separate note Tony are you on Facebook? Its just I've been asked to be the featured poet on a Friday night radio show and the easiest way to get it is via Facebook. Send me a friend request if you are.
Have a great Xmas my friend.

Interesting dream. Just wonder who is Flberty?

It should be fliberty and it's just a 19th century silly word for, well, being silly.
Thanks mate

Thanks, Nigel.

Still couldn't find its exact meaning for me being silly ha ha ha.

Oxford/Cambridge dictionary doesn't come up at all, there is Fliberty-gibbet, however, found on the Guardian
https://www.theguardian.com/notesandqueries/query/0,5753,-5090,00.html

flibbertigibbet comes up in dictionaries but it has different meaning, and just the way to write flibberty-gibbet

So so far it hasn't been used on its own seems. Cheers.
