EXPOSURE

Simultaneously attracted to- And repelled by-
The idea of self- expression:
I feel sometimes.
Something can be hidden
Or can be shown.

I think it's like the man
Who flashes-
A sad loser perhaps:
He wants to shock in a way But also just wants to show. After all, a man's ultimate Expression is ejaculation Resulting in fertilisation
And hence the bringing forth Of an heir.

Writing poetry is perhaps
A more sophisticated form
Of exposure, but ultimately
It's about showing off
Something you only half
Want to show off.

And having people react.
