Poem -
Inevitable
She fell off the cliff of liesΒ and truth of her past and path. . She was a warrior in her own right. Knew little, expressed much, convinced that one voice if sweet and well spoken, could charm the devil enough to let her go. She fell from her pride and tried not to think above her station. Not knowing she could and would change the nation. Inevitable that she would be put on the spot, says who ?Β she enquiriedΒ reluctantly. The world is crumbling around you little one, the invisible thatΒ Β suspend . She fell of the cliff, or jumped, used free will in the end....Β

Incredible! I like the metaphors and the language. For such a short piece, it sure packs a punch. You did a great job with adding small details that help us visualize the scene. At the end, I'm not sure if the person has fallen to their death. But this unknowing, is rather intriguing.Β

I'm not sure what this means exactly, but I get a sense it has something to do with the desire to be more than she was, or she was plaguedΒ with a mental illness that kept her in a depressed state unable to achieve and move forward.Β
