Innocent victim

When I thought of love
That moment my soul grew fond
I craved the unknowing, adept affection
Quoth the sympathy "Don't go wond!"
And so you came gently buzzing
Sang my heart- fizzing and fuzzing
I had dreamed of the bashful blessing
I couldn't wait or be kept guessing
I crave the attaché, adoring admiration
That moment my soul grew pleased
To me you were a marvellous creation
I'd say it even if you leave
Much I marvelled this lovesome congratulations
Yet they warned about the limitations
And so I screamed "Is that a satisfaction?"
As I was pulled effortlessly to the magnetic attraction
The spark you gave brought such sorrow
That moment my soul grew bandaged
As the payvements below grew grey
Although my cravings, they expanded
I, a baby when it comes to love
Could be broke oh so easily
I discovered the injuries all too soon
Before my love was yet to bloom

Note- this was not written about me or my personal experiences. I just wanted to write a poem about heartbreak and love.
Hi Rachel, you have a lovely way of expressing the wants and needs of love but from a youthful position- it's very refreshing and injects a fresh perspective on emotions to those of us who maybe have forgotten the angst of youth-!!! thank you for reminding me- lovely work, keep it up and dont be afraid to explore every emotion and write about it..xx
