Poem -
Insanity
Crimson skies,
Birds in song,
Dusk awaits,
Bustle in peace,
Evanssce of red,
The night is long,
Sleepless times,
I wish would ease.
Plethora of thought,
Teeth on edge,
Restless legs,
Insanity looms,
3am,
Two books read,
Logic is dead,
In a darkened room.
Laid in sombre,
Wired,
Feeble,
Tired,
Unable,
Incessant in thought,
Ravaged,
Pursued,
Savaged,
Subdued,
Quick to explode,
Mentally wrought.

Excellent writing. I have not personally suffered from insomnia but I can imagine it'sΒ hell. Your words here give a good insight as to the frustration and exhaustion it causes. Hope you get a good night's sleep soon x
