INSATIABLE INSANITY
You stab me in the heart

The ache that now is breaking me
A life of foolish games
Such sadness overwhelms me
Tears fill my steely eyes
Will time and love prove stronger than
A life of compromise
Perhaps we can get through this
Perhaps our lives will change
Get past recriminations
Stop trying to re-arange
A place that is our home
The person who you need
Take stock; take heart; just take the truth
Don’t make this hard stone bleed
You’re looking for a needle
In that haystack in the sky
Ain’t ever going to find it
No matter how you try
Blurred lines of pure delusion
Fill your ticking hours
Unhappiness is joyful
It’s the pain of hearts and flowers
Step back from looking backwards
Take a leap of faith, you’ll see
Assume that you can fill the gaps
And what will be; will be
No more crazy questions
Accusations that mean jack
Life is simply useless
When you’re soaking up the flack
Wrap our love in cotton wool balls
Kick the dust from round your mind
