Poem -
INSIDE OF YOU...
Soak me...
in yourself
So as I succumb
my body melts...
I yearn
For more
Entirely all
So I immerse myself
In those tears you pour.
Diving deeper
Into your depths
Holding my breath
I am swept....
Up...Into your eyes
I then plunge....
Beckoned by your cries
I'm surrounded in sorrow
Where I wade and wallow
Taking a deeper
breath...
I then swallow.
I try to swim
Calm and slow
But the current of your tears
Form whirlpools below
Whirling me round
To and fro
I gasp for air
In your tidal flow
Inside of you
I now know
I could never let you go
Now I'm soaked
Drenched in your soul
I'm here to fill
Your well...
With gold.
