Insomnia

It's not some craving or addiction that haunts me in the dark

It's not the nightmares or dreams or some longing in my heart

It's not a song stuck in my head

Nor the comfort of my bed

It's not the anxiety wound tightly around my mind like razor sharp cords

It's all this rhyme and rhythm
And tumbling thoughts
All these continuous words
