Intent To Kill

Take my words swallow them whole
(This is all a game after all)
Ink my promises to your palm
(They'll wash away in the rain that comes with fall)
I lick your wounds
(Only to scar you more)
I spin silk words that reach deep down to your core
(Trust is key to getting in your hearts door)
Lay on my bed of thorns
( I'll crush you slowly, I'll make it feel good)
Sweet drug induced eyes
(All along you knew where I stood)
Clever fingers clasp around your cold hands
(I harmed you before I ever touched you)
I'm stirring up lost emotions and it scares you
(The feelings I leave are a virus infecting you
Downcast eyes create a darker hue)
I'll take your breathe
(Suffocate)
You look good in blue
(I was always the type of man you hate)

The intent to kill is as strong as the act itself
With great intentions we choose to kill
With great intentions we make this dirty deal
You might as well dance in the blood you've shed
Your intentions have sent you half to the grave
Your fate is nearly sealed
