INTENTIONS

INTENTIONS

The thought was there
I truly meant well
But words without action
Will never compel
Words become tainted
Empty, unheard
With the best of intentions
The meaning; becomes blurred
It takes the effort, the endeavor
The sweat of one's brow
To go beyond words
And make a difference, somehow
