Ironic

Ironic

it's ironic that I'm second best,
shouldn't I be first,
shouldn't you believe me over them
I'm your flesh and blood,
but like you always say I brought you into this world and I can take you out,
but the thing is I never asked to be here,
but over the years I learn to keep my mouth shut,
over the years I learn to keep my emotions hidden and my walls  up to the sky,
it's ironic that I can't seem to trust you anymore,
you keep saying I need to be on guard,
does that mean  to be on guard with you,
it ironic don't you think?
