Irony

Irony

You're going to live forever, whether you like it or not,
just when you thought it was all over, you must carry on;
something we dream of, but to find out it's true,
is really beyond the likes of just me and you.

So what are we going to do with all this extra time?
travel I suppose, a year here, a year there, no rush;
then the questions: 'Are you with me or maybe not?'
There were things they had to tell me but they forgot.

Do I have any friends or have to walk out on the lawn
in Barbados on my own - no Ian Fleming around,
am I still on Earth or now maybe light years away,
is my means of propulsion by spiritual travel now?

One thing you'll learn, the time is now, no back or forward,
can you see me, no you can't, unless I decide otherwise.
