Poem -
Is this freedom?
Vanquish the valiant,
Bludgeon those brave
Promotion of predators
Leave no-one to save.
Swipe at the saviors
Tarnish those true
Advocate aggressors
Who haven't a clue.
Corrode the caring
Beat those benevolent
Suger coat sinners
Mostly, they're prevalent
Detest the devoted
Frogmarch those free
Embrace the Evil
We’re blind can't you see?

Magnificent!
The short lines punch each new image into the reader's mind. There's balled-up, burgeoning passion and anger in this one...it has teeth and isn't afraid to use them.
You're really coming into your own as a poet, Lorna; finding a strong clear voice which has a lot to say. It's wonderful to watch, it really is!!
