It catches up

two mini suns fly by at about seventy miles per hour,
repeat this about a thousand times,
and I feel my mouth begin to sour,
Driving the opposite way is my biggest crime,
Home is the other way, just go back,
Those names never meant anything,
It was all in good fun, never meant to be an attack,
A smile and a story is something I would always bring,
Leaving through those lonely streets was hard,
seeing places where long gone friends and I played,
knowing the only way we'll be in touch is by text or a christmas card,
where my spirit and love of this town tumbled out to stay,
each little corner has a story,
sentences of laughter and praise,
phrases of tears and personal glory,
paragraphs of heartbreak and smacked into a daze
Getting away from how you were judged at home isn't easy,
and no matter how far you manage to get,
Even if life suddenly feels extremely breezy,
Feeling as if you've finally run away, means you're not far enough yet
