Poem -

what's left?

skin embraces bone which and they begin to drink,

the blood flows through the vein like a straw,

creating a body in an immeasurable link,

but what if this isn't what you saw?

If you saw the pain that hides in this puzzle,

The self-redicule that constantly plucks at heart strings,

that causes me to shudder when some tries to nuzzle,

But what friends did pain bring?

insecurity is here too running around,

causing darting eyes and indecision,

second guessing every single sound,

you feel like you're love is in remission,

The last friend is plasticity and his dog depression,

Your smile becomes forced and hard to believe,

you feel like everything is now a revision,

was this the warmth and joy you wanted to see?
