IT'S ONLY A NAME

I once knew a chef and his surname is Cook
Of all the names out there it was rotten luck
In my town the bread maker is named Baker
His premises next door to Foot the shoemaker

Of course I will not forget a lady who's sly
Her name is Miss Fox no word of a lie
She's going steady with a man who's sweet
His name is Butcher and he serves up meat

It's time I was going now and be on my way
Will be leaving to see Messrs Knight and Day
We're off for a walk in a park tended by Parker
Making sure our dogs are looked after by Barker
