Japanese Garden

Mr. Ikigai stopped raking stones and welcomed me,
he asked if I would like to hear some haiku mystery:
Deep silence
penetrating the rock
a cicada's voice.
Hakanasa is cherry blossom in the springtime,
hanami is a gathering under the blossom,
to enjoy the moment what might be gone
by the following day, the beauty of transience.
Mr. Ikigai asked me if I stopped for moments
in my life to enjoy beautiful things - I said:
'Unfortunately, I'm usually too busy to make a pause,
but after what you tell me, 'I will seek to do so.'
He said: 'These are your moments, take them please,'
the garden whispered as he raked his beautiful lines.

Beautiful write Terry, the free moments are the best and yes, we have to learn to see and appreciate them...?
Thanks so much Marion.
