Jerimiah

Jerimiah

scarecrow
in a cucumber field.
I adorn with effigies of clowns
and unicorns..and wonder if
I do good..?
must not worship idols,
says the Lord.
Purple and gold with
brazen colours glow,
and glisten around.
items chosen by love,
to remind of better
times gone and to
come..
believe a pagan heart
would celebrate life so
dramatic ?
Nature is testament
to your glory..
A white mantle..
a azure starry sky..
the beauty of a snow flake.
sacrifice to you my Lord,
garlands of holly and ivy,
with berries of red blood
the birthday of Christ
celebrated by the wood.
