Jester

Ah.. buffoon, a dullard exclaims,
Two hearts collide, burst into flames.
Humiliated, as this jester heart laughs,
Offended, as fickle love drives keen shafts.

Reverently beseech, can this clown be saved?
Or lifespan imprisonment adoration enslaved.
Supplications to Eirene, Goddess of peace,
Make these detrimental feelings cease.

Grant respite from this affliction
Ease an arduous crucifixion
Yet a reckless heart insists on love,
Obstinance finds no absolution above.
