Journeys into Abstract Silliness

I’ve been on a journey to uncharted space,
Inside my own mind to my own special place,
Where everything’s rosey and nothing goes wrong,
I can dance to my own beat, I can sing my own song.
It’s the only possession that’s really your own,
Ya don’t have to share it, it’s just yours alone.
I’ve learned to express the adventures I find,
with lyrical ditties and comical rhymes.
It’s really amazing the thoughts you can think,
If you string them together to create a link,
Like, think of a subject, it don’t matter what,
It could be something cold, it could be something hot,
Ya can make up a story or think of a joke,
Or imagine some woman is really a bloke.
Imagine the cat has the arse of a bull,
And imagine the smell when the litter trays full.
So where do they come from? these patterns of thought?
Some we are born with and some we are taught,
Some we develop from things in our life,
some from the good times and some from the strife.
One things for certain, ya can’t help but laugh,
When you think of a fat person stuck in a bath,
Or a milk man with a dairy cow on his milkfloat
Or a postmaster's bike in the shape of a boat?
Your mind is a playground so go and explore,
And don’t be afraid if you open a door,
Cos a door in your mind is symbolic you see,
It can keep you locked up or it can set you free.
Its your mind to enjoy, and you get to pick,
If you go through that door you might learn a new trick.
Ya might want to dream that you’re rollin in cash,
Ya might want to dream your wife has a moustache.
It really don’t matter,so long as you’re happy,
So smile when you think of your boss in a nappy
