Since the beginning of time,

We have washed ourselves

Not only to remove the dirt of

Body and soul, but also our own

Sins, something too deep; sacred,

Powerful for humans to bear; care,

Each of us understands the link

Between water and washing;

Wash our dirt and wounds;

Clean our heart and soul;

Refresh life; enhance love
