Just Like Faded Blue Jeans

Just Like Faded Blue Jeans

Rugged, tough, giving, fitting, sexy, original, a great feel

I can run, ride, climb, hide, camp, hunt, fish, and just have fun

A feeling of being protected, resilient, ready to dance, do almost anything

My faded blue jeans, are what makes me the happiest, I feel free

On a cool crispy autumn day, I want to play, go on a scenic drive, let my hair glow in the sun

The smell of the newness, the feel of the thread against my legs, my skin, almost a sin,

How can just an old pair of blue jeans make me feel this way, just like you

It makes me feel brave and safe, waking up from wonderful dreams, how great it feels

I can wear them dressed up with pearls and lace, even three inch ruby red high heels

I will wear them torn, with holes in my knees, when I am with you, I can do almost anything

With you, my love is lifted higher and higher, my heart runs through fire and desire, no worries my way

For today and tomorrow I'll keep my straw hat close by and my love set aside on a rainy day

A great western movie and a bucket of popcorn, nestled all up with my honey, all comfy

Just like faded blue jeans, with you I'll play
